Thermal Survey across Hampshire
Most Thermal Survey enquiries we take in Hampshire start with an opening that is not a standard size. The housing here is largely naval-era terraces, New Forest timber-framed cottages and 1960s coastal estates, and that shapes what will actually fit. The other factor is high wind-driven rain off the Solent, which is why water ingress at head and jamb on exposed south-west elevations is the most common reason people call us. What you are paying for is measuring where heat is going before anyone recommends a spend.
Manufacture only starts once the survey figures are agreed with you in writing. Ask us for a figure and you will get one, with the lead time stated alongside it.
A detail specific to this area: conservation stock in Winchester and Lymington usually requires slim-profile glazing.

Frequently asked questions
Do you cover Hampshire?
Yes. We cover the whole of Hampshire including Southampton, Portsmouth, Basingstoke, Winchester and the surrounding villages. Conservation stock in Winchester and Lymington usually requires slim-profile glazing. Because high wind-driven rain off the Solent, we allow for it at survey stage rather than discovering it on the day.
What guarantee do you provide?
Ten years on workmanship, covering manufacture and the factory-applied finish. Where we install, the installation is covered too. It is issued in writing with the handover paperwork.
Do you fit, or supply only?
Both. Supply-only is common for trade and contractor clients. For private clients we usually recommend supply and fit, because responsibility for the fit and the finish then sits in one place.
Is the timber certified?
All our stock is FSC certified and chain-of-custody documentation is supplied with the order, which most main contractors and specifiers now require for their records.
Can you match an existing profile?
Yes. If you can supply a section, a photograph with a rule in shot, or an old unit, we can replicate the profile. For conservation work this is usually the condition the planning officer will apply.
